Maximilian Bahlk This album really opened the world of doom metal for me. It's like an intense and meaningfull journey, when you just concentrate on the music. Really appreciate, to own a digital copy this masterpiece! Probably I should also thank the guys from Be'Lakor for recommending Okera in one of their FB-posts :-) Favorite track: I Hope.

Scumbag Often this band has been compared to Opeth and while that observation may not be entirely unjustified, particularly the vocals which sound similar to Åkerfeldt's death growls, the music makes me think more of My Dying Bride. I'd also mention Paradise Lost as a likely influence too. And while Okera's influences seem easily apparent they still manage to avoid being derivative and create their own sound! All in all, if you're even remotely into dramatic death metal you really need to hear this!! Favorite track: The Black Rain.
